1. Above rate cover 80 km per day, 560 km per week and 2400 km per month.

Self-drive rate incorporated insurance covering accident damage and loss over USD. 200
provided this has been reported to the nearest police station and a police report obtained.

The client will take full responsibility for the custody of the vehicle and for its due
maintenance and protection from loss or damage of any form.

4.

A REFUNDABLE deposit of USD.200 is required as a security deposit for the safe
return of the vehicle in the same condition it was delivered.

5.

Drivers minimum age 25 years and maximum age 65 years.

6.

A national license or international driving permit requires endorsement for driving in Sri
Lanka. This has to be applied for in person on a government working day in Colombo, not
on a Saturday, a Sunday and on public holidays.

7.

It is expressly prohibited to use vehicles in breach of the laws by driving at excessive speed
or under the influence of alcohol; or drlugs, for any illegal purpose, or for driving in the
sanctuaries of Wilpattu and Yala or on any other jungle tracks. Insurance is invalidated by
any breach of restruction.

1. Rates quoted are per vehicle basis.

Rate are quoted in US Dollars and are non-commissionable (NET).

Rate includes gasoline, local insurance, drivers allowance and driver's lodging (tips are not
  included and are at the discretion of the tourist who may tip in accordance with the driver's
performance and customer satisfaction).

4.

The client has the choice of getting him-or herself dropped at any selected location on the last
  day and the chauffeur will continue to Colombo. The mileage will be calculated accordingly
considering the last destination as Colombo.

5.

The meter will be shown to the client daily, morning and evening and will have to be read
  clearly and the meter reading will have to be initiated by the client in the log sheet. This will
  avoid any confusion about extra kilometers done during the client's trip.

6.

If there are any extra kilometers they will be charged at the rate of :
Lanka. This has to be applied for in person on a government working day in Colombo, not
on a Saturday, a Sunday and on public holidays.

7.

It is expressly prohibited to use vehicles in breach of the laws by driving at excessive speed
USD 01.00 for every (5) kilometers for cars.
USD 01.50 for every five (5) kilometers for vans.

  At the moment the Ceylon Tourist Board has not authorised Travel Agents to provide transportation to visit the North and East area of Sri Lanka.
